Chris Curtain
Director
Chris Curtain brings a rare breadth of knowledge to every project, building on a career of more than 15 years in all aspects of the construction industry.
Beginning as a residential carpenter prior to working as a project manager, Chris honed his craft on a wide range of large-scale multi-residential projects and complex corporate, hospitality, bar and restaurant fit outs. Along the way, he seized the opportunity to learn from leading figures within the industry.
Establishing Fortem Projects has allowed Chris to draw upon his vast experience to bring efficiency to each project and value to every client.
Chris holds a Diploma of Building & Construction and is a Registered Building Practitioner (Domestic Builder – Unlimited).
Stuart McFarland
Director
Stuart McFarland has worked on projects of architectural distinction in both Ireland and Australia across a career of more than 20 years.
While living in Ireland, Stuart rose to the role of project lead on high-end residences for the renowned DWD Developments before running his own carpentry contracting business. This work saw him gain practical insight into both contemporary homes and restorations of heritage-listed National Trust buildings.
Upon moving to Australia in 2008, Stuart soon established himself as one of Melbourne’s leading carpenters. Stuart now brings his extensive technical knowledge to Fortem Projects builds, while also mentoring the next generation of carpenters who share his dedication.
Stuart is a Registered Building Practitioner (Domestic Builder – Unlimited).
